How Shailpar's scoped quote works for India founders

After you send a brief, Shailpar (Rajat Malik's founder-led studio) replies with a written scoped quote—not a generic package. What to include, what you get back, and what is not promised.

By Rajat Malik

Shailpar is Rajat Malik's founder-led studio at shailpar.com. It is a trade name, not a Pvt Ltd or registered company — there is no CIN or GSTIN to cite.

When you send a brief, you get a written scoped quote: what is in, what is out, and a price tied to that scope. Not a brochure. Not a package named Gold.

This page explains exactly what to send, what you receive back, and what is not promised.

What a scoped quote is at Shailpar

A scoped quote is a written document containing:

  • The deliverables for v1 (screens, flows, integrations)
  • What is explicitly out of scope
  • Stack recommendation (React/MERN, Flutter, agent, chatbot, automation, or SEO)
  • Price and timeline estimate
  • Any clarifying assumptions
  • It is written after intake, not before. The brief you send determines what is quoted.

For more on what "founder-led" means and what it does not, read /blog/founder-led-scoped-build.

What to send in your first brief

    Include:

  • The job to be done — what outcome do you need?
  • Who will use it — audience, internal team, customers
  • Deadline — hard dates, launch windows, or flexible
  • Constraints — existing tools, APIs, CRM, channels, budget range
  • Links — competitor you respect, your existing site, reference designs
  • Send via:

  • Contact form at shailpar.com/contact
  • Email shailpar1128@gmail.com
  • Phone / WhatsApp +91 87919 85129
  • What happens after intake (before build)

    1. Shailpar reviews the brief and replies with clarifying questions where something is unclear. 2. Once the requirements are understood, you receive the written scoped quote. 3. If the quote is accepted, work starts against that document.

The build-flow steps (discovery, design, development, testing, launch, support) are documented at /build-flow — that page covers what happens after the quote is accepted.

What a scoped quote is not

A scoped quote does not guarantee outcomes:

  • No ranking or traffic promises
  • No conversion guarantees
  • No invented case studies
  • Innoviez (https://innoviez.com) is a client — the Support & SLA portal Shailpar built is published as a case study at /portfolio/innoviez. Innoviez is not part of Shailpar.

There are no Flutter, AI-agent, chatbot, or automation case studies published yet. Claims are limited to what is documented on shailpar.com.

Shailpar is a trade name of Rajat Malik's practice, not a Pvt Ltd or LLP. No CIN, GSTIN, or registered entity claims apply.

When a scoped quote is the wrong fit

A scoped quote is not the right path if:

  • You need a retainer with undefined deliverables
  • You want an agency of record relationship
  • You need guaranteed rankings, traffic, or revenue outcomes
  • You expect invented case studies or fake proof
  • Shailpar quotes discrete work against a brief, not open-ended engagements.

How this differs from package agencies

Package agencies sell fixed bundles (Starter, Growth, Enterprise) regardless of your actual need. You pay for a slot, not a scope.

    Shailpar does the reverse:

  • You send the brief first
  • The quote is written to that brief
  • Price reflects actual scope, not a pre-set tier
  • There is no sales team. You talk to Rajat Malik.

    FAQ

How is this different from the build-flow page?

This page explains what happens before the quote is accepted — what to send, what you get back, and what is not promised. The build-flow page (/build-flow) explains what happens after the quote is accepted: discovery, design, development, testing, launch, and support.
